Kia Ora,

I am a dedicated teacher and mother with two young children of my own . I have been a home-based educator for 6 years now and taught in ECE centres for 7 years before that while studying. I am passionate about providing rich learning experiences in home and regular exploration of natural spaces. We follow a regular rhythm to each day and will alternate a few outings each week to explore local parks, the arboretum, local music group and the library. These community outings cater for the needs of the group at the time. I always aspire to engage with the children using patience and playfulness while guiding them through their care routines, learning and interactions with other children.

Home based education allows time for secure relationships to be nurtured and for me to follow and respond to each childs interests and development. I will partner with you to personalise the care and education I am offering to your child, and together support  them to continue developing into confident, capable and connected little people.
