Natasha
Kia Ora,
I am Natasha, a mama of two young girls and two cats. I am a qualified and registered ECE kaiako with about 20 years experience in the sector. I have also just graduated with a postgraduate diploma in Specialist teaching, endorsed in early intervention. I am an inclusive kaiako who is passionate about advocating for best outcomes in learning and development for tamariki, and supporting whānau. I have experience working with both neurodivergent and neurotypical tamariki and have developed skills and knowledge to provide extra support where needed.
I speak English and basic words and phrases in te reo Māori, which is always growing. I am becoming an in-home educator to be there for my girls and provide quality education and care in a small home learning environment. I am a strong advocate for the benefits of learning through play with knowledge and experience in implementing our ECE curriculum Te Whāriki, to support learning and development. I have an extensive range of resources, a large indoor play-space, a large covered deck, and garden to explore in a fully fenced section where I will support learning and development in physical skills, language, and support social and emotional development. Experiences will include art, messy play, music, stories, being outdoors and so much more. I am looking forward to supporting your tamariki in my home, and within our community where we connect with others through playgroups, play centre and the library.
