Kate

My name is Kate, I’m proud to be a 5th generation New Zealander, I’m  currently living in Pukekohe.

I’ve enjoyed working with children since I was a teenager when I babysat local children while at school, I’ve also cared for children in school camps, in daycares and as a nanny in private homes both here in New Zealand and overseas.

I have experience caring for children of different ages from Newborns to teenagers, twins,  triplets and children with allergies and disabilities and I truly enjoy creating a calm, safe and positive environment where children feel happy, supported and understood. 

My favourite activities to keep children entertained are crafts of all kinds, music and movement and anything outside and with water.

My hobbies include genealogy research, bush and beach walks, opshopping, cooking for friends, travel.  playing cards and reading.

I speak English, conversational Te Reo Maori and know basic New Zealand Sign Language.
